How do I change the Name that goes along with my email address?

Electronic mail always has a name associated with it, which normally shows up as the name of the person who the message is from when you are browsing the list of messages in your mailbox. Messages sent from the WebCom system also attaches a name to outgoing mail.

This name is taken from the name of the WebCom Email Account of the address. To change this name go to the WebCom Email Services menu, and choose Modify an existing email account. On the next screen select the email account you wish to alter. On the form which modifies the email account settings, change the Email Account Name setting to the new name. After submitting the form, this new name will begin appearing as the From name in messages sent from the account.

The name you enter here must be unique among all email accounts maintained by all WebCom customers. If you have entered a name which has already been taken, then you will be prompted to choose another.
