Why do I get a "Box Locked" error when accessing my POP mailbox?
This error is returned when there is another connection to the mailbox. This can occur if you make a connection to your mailbox that you abort and try again immediately.
We commonly observe this error when someone has a large volume of mail which takes a long time to download from the server. When you interrupt the process of downloading mail, and try to connect again, you will likely receive this error.
"Locked" sessions are freed after about 10 mintutes. If you get this error, try waiting 10 minutes and then try again. If you continue get this error, then please contact WebCom technical support.
